Shafali Verma, born on January 28, 2004, is a rising star in Indian cricket, representing the national women's team with remarkable talent. Her journey in the cricketing world is studded with numerous milestones. At just 15 years old, she made headlines by becoming the youngest cricketer to play in a Women's Twenty20 International match for India in 2019. 

In June 2021, she etched her name in history once again, this time as the youngest player, male or female, to don the Indian jersey across all three formats of international cricket. Making her WT20I debut at a tender age of fifteen against South Africa on September 24, 2019, Verma instantly made history as the youngest player to don the Indian jersey in a T20I match.

In November 2019, against the West Indies, she added another feather to her cap by becoming the youngest half-centurion for India in international cricket. Verma's consistency and talent were further validated as she notched up 158 runs in five matches against the West Indies, earning the well-deserved title of player of the series.

Verma's journey continued to ascend as she was named in India's squad for the 2020 ICC Women's T20 World Cup in Australia, where she garnered attention as the number one batter in women's T20I cricket.
