The prolific Indian batsman has etched his name in the annals of cricket history by becoming the first player from India to amass 12,000 runs in the T20 format.
Kohli accomplished this extraordinary feat during the inaugural match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, which featured a showdown between the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Friday.

The renowned player achieved this milestone during the seventh over of the IPL match between CSK and RCB, guiding a full delivery from Ravindra Jadeja behind square on the leg side for a single.
In T20 cricket, Kohli has notched up an impressive tally of eight centuries and 91 half-centuries.
